The rooms have a tatami floor (woven-straw) and traditional futon bedding. A private bathroom has a hot tub and views of the sea. The Japanese-inspired spa hotel Ginrinsou offers a 24-hour front desk that allows you to store your luggage and deposit valuables. There is a shop in the hotel that sells local products. Free parking is also available. Ginrinsou can be found a short walk from JR Otaru Chikko Train Station. From there, it is a 7-minute ride to JR Otaru Station and a 10 minute walk to Otaru City Art Museum. Otaru Canal can be reached in 10 minutes. The Old Aoyama Villa is 25 minutes away. You can enjoy a Japanese breakfast from 07:30 to 08;30 and a multi-course Japanese dinner between 18:00 & 19:00. All meals can be enjoyed in the dining room.
