Ikumatsu was once a residence of one of the historic Meiji Restoration leaders. It is now a riverside park. During the summer, an open-air dining area can be found. The
Kyoto Shiyakusho-mae Train Station can be reached in a 2 minute walk. Keihan Sanjo Train Station can be found within a 3 minute walk. Each room is Japanese-style and has tatami (woven straw) flooring. The room also includes a refrigerator, an electric kettle, as well as a television. The majority of rooms have Japanese futon bedding, and some even have a private bathroom. Japanese cuisine is served at the Ishin-an restaurant for lunch. For an additional fee, you can enjoy a traditional Kyoto-style multi-course meal. For an additional fee, guests can have massages or take a dip in the communal bath.
