An
Amsterdam gem built in 1912, the recently renovated NH Amsterdam Schiller is an official Dutch monument and enjoys a rich cultural history. Situated on Rembrandt Square, the rooms and suites of this classic hotel are comfortably furnished and feature many works of art from the Dutch painter Frits Schiller who hung over 600 works of art throughout the hotel when it was completed in the early 1900s. The neighboring bar and restaurant, Cafe Schiller, is one of Amsterdam's favorite meeting points, and it's a great place to enjoy alfresco dining with a glass of locally brewed ale. The rest of the city is easily explored on foot, though a scenic canal trip is highly recommended for a different perspective of the city.
